Description:o Design and develop test framework for testing embedded controlso Generation of optimized test plans, ensuring 100% traceability & coverage of requirementsto test design and test scriptso Effective requirements analysis, test case design, scripting and test executiono Development of test strategies for communicating embedded controlso Analyze and debug issues found during testing and productiono Assist in creating and/or tracking Test plans, test schedules and bugso Actively investigate and study relevant technology and customer trends to anticipate andapply customer and technical needs for the Controls technology platformSkills:embedded software, c, hardware, simulation software, project management, embedded testing, labview, matlab, infrastructure, controls systems, automation testingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Top Skills: 2+ years of direct experience Embedded SW C/C Embedded hw Simulations- Labview/Matlab InfrastructureProficiency in C, C for Embedded firmwaredevelopment and Testing is required.o Experience programming and testing multi task or multithreadedembedded applications.o Experience in test automation tools should have donetest automationo Good knowledge in embedded firmware testing, testdesign, test development processes and related tools.Working knowledge for developing white box and blackbox tests.o Experience with serial communication protocols (I2C, RS-485, RS-232, CAN)o Knowledge of networking protocols TCP/IP, UDP, HTTPand application protocols like JSONo Experience in developing and/or testing applications usingRESTFull and SOAP web service architectures is anadvantageo Experience with LabVIEW is an advantageo Experience with scripting languages like PERL, Python.System verification ofembedded products withgraphical user interface andhardware I/O’s.Experience with HVAC domain.Knowledge in SoftwareEngineering concepts, Qualityprocesses and tools.Experience in LabVIEW RT &FPGA.o Knowledge of Requirements Management, ConfigurationManagement concepts source code version control, bugtracking and traceability.o Familiarity with the HVAC industry is a plus.About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
