Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team situated in Carrollton, Texas. Your primary role will be to interpret sales documents, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and generate journal entries. Also, you will have a critical role in our transition from our current Navision / Excel environment to the custom front end (field level) software and its integration to Navision. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Interpret sales documents to determine completeness and accuracy Create journal entries based on sales documents interpretation Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy Utilize SQL to generate queries for analysis and reconciliation Validate SOX Documents while maintaining an eye for detail Assist in the transition from our current Navision / Excel environment to the custom front end (field level) software and its integration to Navision Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks Conduct general ledger operations Perform bank reconciliations as part of account reconciliation activities.
