Actalent is currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant in The Woodlands, Texas area!Job Description:
Checking in and rooming patients.
Inputting and updating patient demographics into the EMR systems.
Assisting the physician with preparing the patient for examinations.
Noting medical history in the patient's chart, recording their vitals, measuring height/weight/blood pressure.
Make sure any equipment/instruments/rooms needed for an exam are disinfected/sanitized and ready for the physician.
Qualifications:
At least 2 + years of back office Medical Assistant experience.
OBGYN experience is a must have!
Medical assistant certification.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience with EMR/EHR systems.
Additional Information:
Monday to Friday first shift schedule.
Pay rate of $17-$20 hourly based on experience.
