SUMMARY Provides critical analytical and operational support to the Zones and Field teams, as well as Regional Vice President and Regional staff managers. Fosters operational efficiency by supporting and planning events and creating and analyzing reports/business data. This position acts as a steppingstone to Field-based roles, offering exposure to key areas such as sales, marketing, and retailer operations and will report to the Regional Marketing Manager with a dotted line to the Regional Vice President. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis and Reporting
Generates and analyzes reports using systems including Oracle Business Intelligence (BI), Experian Velocity, and Subarunet to provide data on matters including retailer performance, sales, and programming.
Develops actionable insights to enhance retailer performance metrics and optimize incentive programs.
Produces and distributes weekly, monthly, and annual reports for Regional Vice President (RVP) and Zone teams. Reviews data sources and quality to ensure that necessary information is being reported as well as determines if reporting is as effective as it can be.
Event Planning
Plans and executes Regional and Zone events, which includes the selection and oversight of vendors, balancing budgets, assuming responsibility for logistics, and directing the activities and responsibilities of volunteer staff. Provides day-of support and fulfills day-to-day planning and administration of the events and activities. Successful event planning requires a focused, dedicated, hard-working individual with significant customer-handling experience, problem-solving skills, and a strong attention to detail.
Develops contingency plans and and independently and quickly resolves on-site issues to ensure seamless event execution.
Supports corporate and regional initiatives, integrating Subaru’s Love Promise into events where applicable.
Operational Support
Prepares presentation decks for RVP for meetings such as Executive Kickoff, Central Region Advisory Board Meetings, and Planning for Success (PFS). The creation of these decks requires compiling, organizing, and analyzing data for the information to be included.
Serves as a liaison with BCD Travel to determine and execute regional meeting logistics in compliance with corporate policies.
Field Team Collaboration
Travels with Regional and District management to present analyses, such as process improvement analyses, and build retailer relationships.
Provides backup coverage for District Sales Managers (DSMs) and assists in onboarding new retailers. Learns the DSM responsibilities by personal observation and discussion with DSMs and Regional/Zone management.
Performs market analyses using competitive sales data to identify growth opportunities for the Region. Provides assessments using data, judgment, and observations; this includes considering the point of view of the customer, including but not limited to, watching and critiquing retailer processes.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides coverage for DSM/District Parts/Service Manager (DPSM) as needed (such as vacation, vacancy, etc.).
Performs market analysis of Region and Zones in Retailer Development areas utilizing Registrations, Sales, Competitive Sales, SOSA, and Make Rank reports and other program data available to support the Regional Retailer Development Manager.
Travels periodically with Regional management and District management to observe discussions with the retailer network as well as present opportunities to selected retailers.
Mentors interns, fostering future talent and operational expertise.
Coordinates training sessions for both internal and external employees during Regional training programs by working closely with the Regional Product Training Manager,
Required Skills and Personal Qualifications
Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, including ability to create PowerPoint presentations for executives.
Experience in Subaru Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), Intranet, and Subarunet in order to pull and analyze reporting. Ability to learn new or proprietary systems.
Analytical skills with working with spreadsheets, databases, and reports.
Strong organizational skills – ability to prioritize and multi-task as needed within department and multiple departments with flexible approach to assignments as shifting priorities occur.
Independent worker with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize a constant and heavy workload within multiple departments.
Excellent and professional interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills; comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization, external vendors, and retailers when necessary.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional team members to better understand the needs of the organization and develop additional support tools.
Initiative-taker with a proactive attitude and problem-solving abilities.
Education/Experience Requirements: 4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 2-4 years' experience

Compensation: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $67900 - $80000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
