Senior Construction Project Manager (High-Rise)

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and completion of high-rise condominium and office tower construction projects. This includes managing project budgets, schedules, and resources, as well as leading and motivating project teams to achieve project objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing complex high-rise projects from inception to completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.

Manage and control project costs, ensuring projects are completed within budget.

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely project completion.

Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and vendors.

Identify and mitigate project risks.

Ensure adherence to quality standards and building codes.

Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Prepare and present project reports and status updates.

Oversee project closeout activities, including final inspections and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in high-rise construction project management.

Proven track record of successful completion of at least 5 high-rise projects from underground to turnkey.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).

Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal issues, and insurance requirements.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desired Skills:

LEED certification.

Experience with preconstruction services.

Knowledge of estimating and bidding processes.

Proficiency in construction scheduling software.
