We are looking for someone to help with daily chores around the farm. Duties include feeding horses, turning in and out from the fields, cleaning and bedding stalls, tidying the barn, and some basic farm maintenance. We have approximately 15 horses and 10 stalls. Stalls only need to be cleaned once a day, unless horses have to be kept in because of weather. Work is broken up between an AM shift and a PM shift, approximately 2-4 hours of work per shift, starting around 7 AM and 4 PM (some flexibility for the right candidate).
We are looking for someone who can work 1 or both shifts (AM and PM), 5-6 days a week, both weekdays and weekends.
This is approximately 20 hours of work per week. Set weekly pay based on experience, with raises given once job is learned.
Horse experience is required, as well as a good work ethic and an attention to detail. Must be reliable!
Job could also be reworked to be just stall cleaning once per day, 6 days a week, for someone who wants to handle the horses less.
