About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Live-In Massage Therapist / Housekeeper to join our household. This unique position offers the opportunity to provide essential wellness services while maintaining a comfortable and well-kept home environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, particularly individuals managing Rheumatoid Arthritis, and possess a strong work ethic for household maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
-Massage Therapy:
-Provide therapeutic massage sessions 3-4 times per week to assist with managing Rheumatoid Arthritis symptoms.
-Utilize appropriate massage techniques tailored to the client's specific health needs.
-Maintain accurate records of sessions and client progress.
Housekeeping:
-Perform general household cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and organized living space.
-Manage laundry, ironing, and other related chores.
-Handle minor household repairs and upkeep as needed.
-Additional Duties (Preferred but Not Required):
-Cooking: Prepare nutritious meals as needed, accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences.
-Acupuncture: Provide acupuncture services to enhance the overall wellness regimen.
Qualifications
Required:
-Certified and licensed Massage Therapist with verifiable credentials.
-Proven experience in therapeutic massage, preferably with clients managing chronic conditions like Rheumatoid Arthritis.
-Strong housekeeping skills with attention to detail.
-Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
-Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful demeanor.
-Ability to live on-site and maintain a professional relationship.
Preferred:
-Certified Acupuncturist with relevant licensure.
-Culinary skills and experience in meal preparation.
-Experience in a live-in role or similar household setting.
