Independent Contractor Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist as an independent contractor who would rent at 100 sq. foot space in our office. This individual is a professional, responsible, and a self starter perfect if you have your own clientele. He/She would be completely separate from our chiropractic practice. This person would create their own rates, schedule, and marketing. We have a room delegated just for you in our brand new office. Rental space is available at $1000 per month which includes monthly parking. Clients will only be charged $1/hour for the first two hours. Possibility sharing clients. Could offer some storage space if needed. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with expertise in various massage techniques to provide exceptional patient care.
Duties:
- Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques
- Administer deep tissue massages, trigger point therapy, and other specialized treatments
- Provide acute pain management and assist in long-term pain management strategies
- Conduct physical examinations to evaluate patients' conditions
- Offer patient education on occupational health and wellness practices
- Deliver outstanding patient service and ensure a comfortable and professional environment
-Sheet supply and linen cleaning not included.
Requirements:
- Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in anatomy and physiology knowledge
- Experience in patient assessment and acute pain management
- Skilled in trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients on wellness practices
-Must have general liability insurance coverage of 6 million aggregate and 2 million per occurrence.
