Electronics Assembly Production Assistant in Garland!
$15-$16 per hour

MUST HAVE 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE ASSEMBLING ELECTRONICS W/HANDTOOLS AND READING SCHEMATICS

Summary: Accurate assembly of electronic subassemblies and systems according to engineering drawings.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
▪ Follow engineering drawings, sample assemblies and verbal instructions
▪ Crimp, screw, bolt, rivet, solder, cement, press fit, or perform similar operation to join or secure parts in
place, utilizing hand tools, power tools, machines and equipment
▪ Perform point to point wiring of electronic assemblies per wire list
▪ Mount components such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits and sockets on chassis,
panel, or printed wiring board
▪ Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets
▪ Perform proper symbolization tasks as required on components, subassemblies and unit assemblies
▪ Notify management of any conditions felt as being non-conforming to product specification and any
procedures that cannot be performed as documented
▪ Perform all tasks in accordance with company established, quality workmanship standards
▪ Accurately complete all documentation involving material process and personnel requirements
▪ Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work station
▪ All other assigned duties
Job Requirements
▪ High degree of dexterity and eye coordination, to allow manipulation and placement of component,
subassembly and unit assembly functions
▪ Ability to understand and follow instructions in a supervised environment
▪ Basic knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings to include parts lists, wire lists and
assembly drawings
▪ Working knowledge of basic quality standards in electronics manufacturing
▪ Verbal and written communication skills
▪ Required overtime on an as needed basis
Physical Requirements
Must be able to see, stand, sit, squat, bend, climb, reach, grasp, work hand tools which include crimpers,
wrenches, pliers and screw drivers, and lift 35 pounds unassisted.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required
Documented US Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident status
