HUD Support Specialist - Recurring

Status: Full-time, in-office. Single person office, needs to be able to work well by yourself and stay motivated.

Schedule: Mon-Friday, 8:30-5:00

Pay Range: $18.00-$19.50/hour

Job Overview

As a HUD Recurring Specialist, you will be part of our property management team. You will work with our vendor network to ensure the properties are being taken care of on a routine (recurring) basis. Your customer service skills, attention to detail, proficiency with MS Office and new software, and ability to learn HUD guidelines will help you be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities

1. HUD Program Compliance: Ensure ongoing compliance with HUD guidelines.

2. Recurring Task Management: Oversee and coordinate the execution of recurring tasks such as inspections, lawn care, and maintenance of HUD properties.

3. Coordination with Team: Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to facilitate the timely completion of recurring tasks, ensuring adherence to HUD timelines.

4. Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to your team, summarizing the status of recurring tasks and compliance metrics.

5. Instruction and Guidance: Provide instruction and guidance to vendors on HUD program requirements, recurring tasks, and compliance procedures.

6. Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy and completeness of recurring tasks, as documented with photo submissions.

7. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to recurring tasks promptly.

Qualifications

Candidates must be able to pass an in-depth background check required by the government. Candidates should be energetic, ambitious, and capable of managing field service orders, data entry, and communicating with vendors. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with vendors and clients. Attention to detail, organization, and meeting critical timelines are crucial for success.
