We are currently seeking a receptionist who is professional, reliable, detail oriented, and well organized to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, the ideal candidate must have the ability to communicate professionally and confidently.
The position will be part time, starting at 16 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and professionally handling front desk operations including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling all appointments, and managing all forms of virtual communications (Email, Fax, and Patient Messages).
- Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
- Handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other amounts due.
- Assist with general office duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Available to work 9am to 6pm Monday's and Friday's.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
- Previous medical office experience required (A minimum of 1 years' related experience) .
- Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with individuals at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work productively with minimal supervision.
- Punctual, reliable, have a positive attitude.
