KP Staffing is hiring Welders and Fabricators for a company that builds custom steel forms for the precast, prestressed concrete industry.
Welder/Fabricators support the manufacturing plant by assembling pieces of metal or repairing damage to products using welding equipment and tools.
Schedule
1st Shift: 5:00am – 2:30pm or 9:00am – 6:30pm
2nd Shift: 2:00pm – 11:00pm (must train on first shift)
Saturday overtime as required
Pay
Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00
Pay will depend on welding test scores
Education and Work Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Welding and fitting experience
Mig Welding experience
Flux Core and Stick Welding experience preferred
Welding certification preferred
Experience in manufacturing industry or similar preferred
Qualifications
Pass welding test showcasing skills in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
Perform welding using various materials such as .035 solid wire, .045 flux core wire, 7018 and 6011 rods
Utilize hand cutting torches and hand grinders with precision
Read tape measure with accuracy to 1/32”
Execute minimal assembly tasks under supervision
Willingness to perform other production-related duties as assigned
Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing and screening
