Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions for repairs.
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, and brake systems.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics using specialized tools.
- Fabricate parts when necessary.
- Weld and perform equipment repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems in diesel vehicles.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Ability to fabricate parts and perform equipment repairs.
- Proficiency in welding techniques.
- Experience working as a service technician is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical systems in diesel vehicles.
- Familiarity with forklift operations.
