The ground floor houses a breast imaging center, outpatient physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation and an internal medicine residency program.What You’ll DoThe successful EMS Program Manage r will work in collaboration with local EMS agencies, hospital leadership, and the system EMS Director to support the growth and coordination of EMS agency relationships, ensuring the alignment of local EMS agencies with Texas Health Resources. You’ll develop outreach initiatives, provide EMS education and recognition, and act as a direct liaison between the hospital and EMS providers.The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate emergency medical services (EMS) outreach and relations between Texas Health Denton and local EMS providers. The role involves managing relationships, facilitating open communication, and supporting strategic initiatives to improve the delivery of emergency medical services. This position works closely with hospital leadership and the system EMS Director to ensure EMS providers see Texas Health as the destination of choice, and are equipped with the engagement, training, and resources needed to enhance patient outcomes and support hospital services.What You’ll Need
A High School Diploma or Equivalent with 9+ years’ combined experience in emergency medical services, pre-hospital emergency medicine or other clinically related discipline required if not an RN.
EMS Outreach or EMS Instructor experience is helpful.
A Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years recent experience in emergency medical services, pre-hospital emergency medicine or other clinically related discipline required for an RN.
Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic, EMT; Licensed Paramedic, LP or Registered Nurse, RN; is required upon hire.
Progressive leadership experience in an Emergency Department is highly preferred.
BLS, ACLS and PALS through American Heart Association upon hire preferred.
