We’re looking for a Mother/Baby RN to join our tight-knit nursing team. Is that you?Work location: Texas Health Denton: 3000 N I-35 Denton, Texas 76201Work hours: PRN Level III/per diem, Day Shift 7a – 7p; minimum requirement: 6 shift/per 6-week schedule, 2 weekend shift/per 6-week schedule, 1 major/2 minor holiday requirementsDepartment highlights:
The Center for Women at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton is a Texas 10-step facility with the “Best Place to Have a Baby” designation. Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team
The unit has 23 beds Postpartum/Newborn, Couplet Care, 12 LDR beds, 2 OR suites, 3 private recovery rooms, 6 Antepartum rooms and 4 private OB/ED beds
Level III NICU with 16 beds with private rooms
The unit delivers an average between 175-200 a month.
OB Hospitalist 24/7
Anesthesiologist dedicated to L&D 24/7
Brand new Women’s Tower that opened July 2022
Here’s What You NeedQualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days required
NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days required
STABLE Program within 6 months of hire
1 year experience as a Registered nurse required
Mother Baby experience preferred
