DescriptionAccountemps is searching for a talented entry-level Accountant. Your duties in this position will include entering data, reviewing financial statements, and creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets. You will report to the Accounting Manager, work with a dynamic team, and enjoy the opportunity for career growth. You could thrive in this position if you love Excel, maintain a positive attitude, and are open to an entry-level accounting position. For this long-term temporary-to-full-time position, you should be willing to work in El Paso, Texas.Responsibilities
Assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audit
Analyzing and adjusting account discrepancies
Enter data
Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
Executing alternate duties and partaking in special projects as assigned
Facilitating full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Prepare monthly journal entries
Requirements
Knowledge of general ledger
Journal entries experience desired
Proficiency in account reconciliation
Excellent oral and written communications skills
High attention to detail
Required: 1+ years of accounting experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred
Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
AA degree or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
