Do you like to
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced hardware, software, network, or mobile device problems?
  • Continuously hone your technical expertise and stay up to date on the latest technologies?
  • Provide excellent customer service while resolving customer issues in a timely manner?

Do you have
  • 4+ years’ experience with information systems, processes and procedures, and knowledge of current hardware, software wide-area-networks and mobile devices (Apple) troubleshooting techniques?
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the analysis of personal computer operating systems, printers, other peripheral equipment, Microsoft products such as Windows 7/8/10, Office 365, Active Directory and other applicable enterprise software?
  • Awesome customer service techniques, and can keep a cool head with frustrated callers and/or stressful conditions?
  • The strong ability to present and explain technical information to a non-technical audience, and effectively communicate orally and in writing in the English language with all levels of staff?

In this role, you will be
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing Tier 3 hardware, software, and LAN/WAN network, or mobile device issues; escalating to specialized staff as needed
  • Creating problem tickets in the ticketing system for all IT related issues and achieving desired metrics in accordance with department policies
  • Maintaining technical expertise on agency hardware/software, network configurations, or peripherals using various methods such as reviewing the latest technical information and attending training
  • Monitoring daily network activities to identify and resolve continuing problems or unusual situations

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • The employee agrees to maintain a work environment that is ergonomically sound, clean, safe, and free of obstructions and hazardous situations.
  • The employee must have a quiet, noise-free home office space that is free of distractions.
  • The employee will maintain at their expense a high-speed and reliable internet or wi-fi connection.
  • Must be well-groomed and presentable for a business environment dealing with top Executives.
  • Must be able to work in sub-standard environments, and be able to sit, stand, bend or squat for long periods of time while assisting customers.
  • Ability to lift over 30 pounds.
