Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. This role will take place at our growing facility in El Paso, TX.This role will be the lead in designing the metal fabrication manufacturing area and help ready the new area for operations, set up new machinery, and transitioning existing equipment from other manufacturing location in El Paso. Once production has begun, this role will be the Mechanical Engineer accountable for continuing to improve the fabrication operations and drive more efficiency as we ramp up volumes and bring more product lines to the facility.The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Evaluate and establish manufacturing cost, quality plans and investments in new and redesigned components or procedures.
Create manufacturing processes, layouts, routings, and drawings.
Investigate, analyze, and recommend alternate equipment and manufacturing methods.
You will procure equipment and tooling per project plans and Eaton standards.
Provide technical assistance to customers as requested.
Resolve manufacturing problems using statistical tools and continuous improvement methods.
Participate in product process design reviews.
Investigate and initiate cost reduction programs.
Evaluate and verify processes and tool designs completed by peers.
Assist suppliers with processes to improve quality and cost.
Develop and summarize capital appropriation data and narratives for projects.
Generate machine and production process capacity and capability studies.
Implement, promote, and maintain a safe work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents including prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules.
Identify, control, and administer risk and danger in own area and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Three (3) or more years of experience in a technical role supporting manufacturing processes or related engineering functions.
Three (3) or more years of experience in a technical role supporting equipment/machinery implementations, processes, and maintenance procedures.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Demonstrated proficiency with Eaton systems and tools including: VISTA, Bid Manager, AS-400, SWIFT, and DMM.
Demonstrated proficiency in LEAN and Greenbelt Tools.
Knowledge and technical experience in ETO processes and engineering methods.
Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, and NEMA Standards.
Experience working with Design Software (CAD).
Knowledge and technical expertise in metal fabrication processes such as punch presses, benders, and automated systems.
