Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Production Planner.The core hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:45 pm. The hourly range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:Primary FunctionAssist in the planning and manufacturing area. Coordinate, follow up and expedite all planned and released MOs (Manufacturing Orders) on a daily basis until they are closed. Keep the ERP system of the assigned production lines updated. Enter and prepare daily reports.Essential Functions
Monitor, review and release production orders to ensure they are built on time.
Prepare Shortage reports of the production schedule and keep close communication with Materials Analysts to solve issues.
Use the ERP/MRP system to extract information and determine the promise dates of the manufacturing orders while setting priorities.
Responsible for Manufacturing Orders follow up with Manufacturing team.
Execute actions to understand and solve delays of released orders on the production floor.
Leads efforts to find root causes and corrective actions when there is a disruption to the Materials Planning process.
Implement continuous improvement in all processes and procedures established in area of responsibility.
Participate in daily manufacturing meetings.
Effective and timely communication with Master Scheduler about problems or concerns.
Specialized KnowledgeBasic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. 6 months of Manufacturing or Operational support experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Relocation is not being offered. Must live within a fifty-mile radius of the El Paso facility. Active-duty military are exempt from this geographical restriction, Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing and Supply Chain knowledge.
