JOB DESCRIPTION:
Title: Janitor in an Industrial Setting
Reports To: Manager
Key Responsibilities and duties:
· Daily cleaning of areas that include removal of cardboard, trash, and plastic
· Recycle plastic and cardboard boxes
· Remove all trash from offices
· Sweep and clean
· Restock custodial closet
· Dust mop on a daily basis
· Clean restrooms
· Must clean up trash around facility perimeter on a daily basis
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Great attendance and punctuality record.
Have a sense of urgency in processing orders and able to work in a high stress work environment.
Applicant must pass background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
High school graduate or GED preferred.
Minimum of 1-year experience in the janitorial, cleaning or warehouse industry
Have the ability to read and communicate in English
Have a working knowledge of basic cleaning equipment
Physical ability to lift and handle equipment up to 50 pounds
Ability to manage time efficiently
Maintain a professional image at all times
