We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various machining tools and equipment. This role involves fabricating parts according to specifications, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality control throughout the production process. A background in plastics injection molding is a plus, as well as proficiency in CAD software.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain various machining equipment including lathes and milling machines.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
Fabricate parts from raw materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new products and improve existing processes.
Weld components as necessary to complete assemblies or repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
Machining: 1 year (Required)
Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using machining tools, including lathes, mills, and welding equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.
Familiarity with CAD software for design purposes is preferred.
Excellent blueprint reading skills with attention to detail in measurements and specifications.
Experience in plastics injection molding is advantageous but not required.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Commitment to maintaining high safety standards in the workplace.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
