As an Automation Maintenance Technician for our 2nd shift, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the pharmacy’s automated systems. This is a great role for someone who enjoys an organized and clean work environment, focusing on routine inspections of our specialized machines. The person in this role will also be responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues to meet production goals as well as quality expectations. Your efforts will impact the lives of thousands of patients who rely on the critical medications that are dispensed by this facility.Candidates hired for the Automation Mechanic role are provided tools by CVS Health upon training. No requirement to provide your own.Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Troubleshooting and maintenance for automation robotics, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems in a sophisticated automated large volume pharmaceutical dispensing facility.
Conduct routine inspections of machines and systems to ensure optimal performance, such as troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and supporting the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control systems.
Performing preventative maintenance on equipment, notifying the Manager of any concerns regarding major repairs needed or any additional equipment needed to support the pharmacy automation equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area for all employees.
Participate in training programs to stat updated on new technologies and procedures.

3+ years of general maintenance and troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
3+ years of experience of professional maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
3+ year of experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and PLC based control systems, knowledge of PLC’s, PLC troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse, or healthcare environments
Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 9000, ISO 13485, FDA, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device).
A craft certification or other related certification/training
Education
Verifiable High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.
Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$19.52 - $40.90This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
