Strong support is needed for the stabilization of the implementation of SAP for Medical and the transition to the COE in the first few years. You will provide support to the Sr Manager(s) Inventory MSNT and Sr Manager Costing/GRNI for guiding the team and all related stakeholders commercially and GQO. You will support in technical accounting, compliance, audit, forecasting and month end activities. You will manage direct report(s) as well.T he candidate will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance to our Flower Mound, TX location. You will need to be in the office 3 days a week and will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.Who we wantEffective communicators. Month end:

Manage monthly closing with Divisional Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Global Finance Service Centers (GFS) teams

Responsible for ensuring that inventory (and reserves) is correctly valued and controlled and all relevant Corporate Policies are applied

Analyze and communicate key business drivers to enable functional business leaders to effectively manage their P&L and provide recommendations

Analyze Inventory and Inventory adjustments; provide information to facilitate business reviews and set requirements from a finance perspective in a timely manner.

Delivery of monthly business results, including in near future, performance to budget and forecast. Interprets and communicates results to senior leadership and proactively recommends opportunities to improve business results

Prepare the more complex month end journal entries, review and approve those journals completed by the team members.

Communication/relationships:

Responsible for effectively communicating relevant information to all stakeholders

Proactively communicate changes in business trends, local business decisions or other issues that may have a financial impact.

Analyze and communicate key business drivers to enable function business leaders to effectively manage their P&L and provide recommendations

Planning:

Support the planning process with the divisions on preparing forecast models, consolidations, and coordination of projection calls

Supporting the Sr. manager for the planning process including support divisions in their forecast models, consolidations and coordination of projection calls in close collaboration with Divisions/Supply Chain/Suppliers/etc.

Analyze Inventory and Inventory adjustments; provide information to facilitate business reviews and set requirements from a finance perspective in a timely manner.

Management skills:

Responsible for Costa Rica Medical team by setting direction, developing talent and empower to assist in their development inventory content wise

Build, manage and develop team of accounting professionals, including setting of annual objectives and completion of the team annual reviews.

Compliance:

Finance Manager will be support for Internal and External Audits (mainly SOX related)

Ensure all defined controls Inventory related are updated, performed, reviewed, documented and executed as accurately and timely as possible in close collaboration with the Internal Control team members within Global Inventory COE and the Internal Control Department

Support Compliance/Internal Control team to ensure that all defined controls, inventory related, are updated, performed, reviewed, documented and executed as accurate and timely as possible

Ensure all Inventory reports generated by ERP systems are accurate, complete, and reconcile to the General Ledger.

Implementations/integrations: provide strong support in the implementation of SAP for Medical and integration to COE, including all testing, training, documentation, alignment with business, key deliverables, active input

What you need

Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred

8+ years experience required

2+ years experience in people management

Fluent in English and Spanish

SAP ERP knowledge required

CPA preferred

Excellent working knowledge & understanding of US GAAP
