Here’s What You NeedEducationAssociate's Degree Nursing Required OrExperience5 years of clinical nursing experience in a specified area of auditLicenses and CertificationsRN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required AndSkillsRequires extensive knowledge of medical care in specified clinical area. Excellent communication and problem solving skills; documentation, training and customer service skills. Leadership skills to work well with staff and other THR departments. Extensive knowledge of Managed Care, HMO, Workers Compensation, federal or insurance guidelines requirements. Ability to prioritize work.What You Will DoPerforms audits of patient charge sheet and medical records to ensure accuracy of charges using knowledge of coding regulations for third party payers and assures accuracy of charge sheets. Assures medical record and charge sheet reconciliation and turns reviewed and corrected charge sheets in to charge entry staff. Reviews edict reports and makes corrections.
