A background in accounting/finance with a strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX/financial compliance, coupled with the ability and desire to apply the concepts to 'hands-on' operational processes.What You Will DoAs the Senior Financial Compliance Manager you will ensure financial statements and accounting practices are in compliance with standards set by Stryker. Lead process enhancement efforts to ensure efficient financial operations and support a rapidly evolving business.

Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of compliance program for Customer Solutions, including Flex Finance and rebate programs.

Serve as key finance business partner to the local finance teams within the MSNT Group, Finance Centers, and Customer Solutions organization to drive collaboration and alignment on all technical accounting and compliance matters.

Partner with Finance Centers to ensure that service levels and internal controls are aligned with divisional requirements.

Advise on and implement newly issued Corporate Finance Policies and accounting guidance (US GAAP).

Actively participate on Stryker's Financial Compliance Committee as a strong advocate for MSNT divisions.

Engage with Internal and External Audit teams and Finance Business Partners, functioning as an extension of the divisional team, proactively communicating to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Lead account reconciliation review project for MSNT divisions, implement process improvements and provide training to ensure integrity quality and adherence to corporate policies.

Oversee the execution of MSNT Group Balance Sheet Review and certification process, including collaborating with local finance teams to understand key fluctuations, summarizing results, and preparing highlights summary for the MSNT Group CFO.

Facilitate, review, and track non-GAAP approval requests and spend.

Perform ad-hoc analysis and technical accounting research to support Business Partner needs, as needed.

Research and provide revenue recognition and lease accounting guidance on new Flex programs, indemnification letters and amendments to VPA agreements.

Consult with the Corporate Technical Accounting in researching, assessing and documenting accounting conclusions on complex accounting matters.

Provide and facilitate training to local finance teams within the MSNT Group and Finance Centers.

Lead and develop a team who assures the highest levels of customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding customer expectations with accounting adherence to US GAAP and corporate finance policies, as well as qualitative and timely account reconciliations.

Talent management and team development focused on compliance team to ensure proactive development and training.

What You Need

Bachelor's degree in accounting,

CPA strongly preferred

10+ years' experience in accounting including Public Accounting experience.

Solid understanding of Sarbanes Oxley, PCAOB Auditing Standards, and US GAAP

Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately and efficiently.

Strong ability to coordinate action across dispersed workforce.

Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management.

You will need to live within commuting distance to our Flower Mound, TX office.
