Description Job Title: Transactional Paralegal Full-time (Hybrid Remote – up to 2 days remote after 90 days) Frisco, TX Our client is a leading municipal law firm committed to providing exceptional legal services to local governments in North Texas. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transactional Paralegal to join our client's dynamic team.Position SummaryThe Transactional Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in a variety of transactional matters, including but not limited to:
Municipal Bonds: Assisting in the issuance of municipal bonds, including due diligence, document preparation, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Real Estate Transactions: Supporting real estate transactions, such as land acquisitions, easements, and lease agreements.
Intergovernmental Agreements: Drafting and reviewing intergovernmental agreements between municipalities and other governmental entities.
Economic Development: Assisting in economic development projects, including incentive agreements and public-private partnerships.
Other Transactions: Supporting other transactional matters as needed, such as contracts, permits, and zoning approvals.
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and analysis on various transactional topics.
Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
Organize and maintain electronic and paper files.
Assist with due diligence investigations and document reviews.
Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and outside counsel.
Provide general administrative support as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a transactional law firm or equivalent setting.
Strong understanding of municipal law and regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with municipal bond issuance or real estate transactions.
Knowledge of document management systems.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
