Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the Investment Management industry based in Ft. Worth, Texas. This role is open for a Senior Fund Accountant with Investran who will be part of a team responsible for dealing with customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also have the responsibility of overseeing customer accounts and taking appropriate action when needed. This is a 6+ months contract position. 100% REMOTE. SENIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT WITH INVESTRANMUST HAVE INVESTRAN EXPERIENCEWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant with a strong background in Private Equity (PE) and Investran experience. This position requires 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in the Private Equity, Asset Management, Hedge Fund, or Financial Services industries. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of fund accounting processes, including daily transactions, cash management, bank and general ledger (GL) account reconciliations, and partner reporting.Key Responsibilities:
Process daily transactions, including cash management and bank reconciliations.
Perform GL account reconciliations and support monthly financial reporting.
Assist with the annual audit process and prepare necessary documentation.
Reconcile and post marketable security transactions, including valuation adjustments, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Respond to limited partner (LP) inquiries and provide timely support as needed.
Assist with accounting close periods and related processes.
Support special projects and provide ad-hoc reporting as required.
Top 3 Key Requirements:
Investran Proficiency - Must have hands-on experience with Investran.
Fund Accounting in Private Equity - Experience in PE fund or alternative asset management is a must.
Strong Excel Skills - Expertise in advanced Excel is essential.

Fund Accounting Expertise: Experience in Private Equity Fund or Alternative Asset Management.
Advanced Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
