Description We are in search of an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our client's team in Haltom City, Texas. The incumbent will play a crucial role in our organization, overseeing the reconciliation processes, implementing a Purchase Order system, tracking work in progress updates, and managing invoicing and job cost tracking. This is a rapidly growing organization that is adding this role due to growth. Promotion to Controller and CFO as they grow is a selling point. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervise the reconciliation process for all accounts Implement and manage a Purchase Order system to streamline and improve efficiency Track and update work in progress (WIP) regularly to ensure accurate project management Handle invoicing tasks, ensuring all invoices are accurate and sent in a timely manner Monitor job cost tracking to effectively manage project costs Prepare month-end financial reports, providing accurate and up-to-date financial information Conduct regular auditing to ensure compliance and accuracy in all financial documents Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with industry standards Manage accounting for construction projects, ensuring all financial aspects are handled accurately and efficiently.Requirements Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of Accounting or related areas Proficiency in Accounting Functions is essential Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required Capability in managing Billing Functions is necessary Familiarity with WIP - Work In Progress is expected Must have experience in Job Cost accounting Experience in Construction Projects - Accounting would be an advantage Should be able to manage Month End Close activities Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation is a mustFor immediate consideration, please send your resume to Carol Nichols, SVP Robert Half Finance and Accounting, at carol.nichols@roberthalf.c0m.
