Privileges based on occupancy and business levelsDefinition:The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems within the hotel. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in HVAC systems, and the ability to effectively manage a team of HVAC technicians. The HVAC Supervisor will collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal guest comfort and satisfaction while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.General Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective performance.

Plan and prioritize daily work assignments for the HVAC team, ensuring timely completion of maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC system malfunctions and provide guidance and assistance to technicians in resolving them.

Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized repairs or installations, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of equipment.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including equipment logs, service reports, and inventory of spare parts.

Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and housekeeping, to address guest requests and ensure minimal disruption to their comfort.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to HVAC systems, and make recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.

Monitor and manage HVAC-related expenses, including budgeting, cost control, and procurement of necessary equipment and supplies.

Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines while performing HVAC maintenance and repair tasks.

Conduct regular performance evaluations of HVAC technicians, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement or training needs.

Assist in other maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Required Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized HVAC training program is preferred.

Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration.

Familiarity with various HVAC tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
