Are you passionate about robotics, coding, and inspiring young minds? We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Robotics Teacher to lead engaging, hands-on classes for children. As a Robotics Teacher, you will teach students how to code and program robots, fostering a love for STEM and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver weekly classes on robotics, coding, and programming.
- Teach students the basics of coding, including block-based coding (e.g., Scratch) and text-based coding (e.g., Python).
- Guide students through building and programming robots, using platforms like LEGO Robotics.
- Encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking through project-based learning.
- Adapt lessons to meet the varying skill levels and learning styles of students.
- Ensure a safe, fun, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching robotics, coding, or related subjects to children.
- Proficiency with robotics platforms such as LEGO Robotics.
- Strong understanding of coding languages (e.g., Scratch, Python, Java).
- Ability to engage and motivate students of different ages and skill levels.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for STEM education and working with children.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching experience in a classroom or extracurricular setting.
- Familiarity with educational robotics competitions (e.g., FIRST LEGO League).
Schedule:
- Classes will be held Wednesday mornings beginning in September.
