Welcome to N Zone Jr., a community-based youth sports organization located in Richmond, TX. We run youth sport activities year-round for children aged 2-8, with games and practices eld at day cares, preschools and after school programs. Our focus is on teaching important life values like teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and effort to our young participants.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Child and Youth Coach at N Zone Sports. The role involves engaging with children, facilitating youth activities, providing mentorship, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the participants.
Ideal for college students who are looking to build a career as they continue their education journey or retired / semi-retired seniors looking for extra income while staying active.
Qualifications:
MUST be able to pass TX Health and Human Services Background check.
Preferred and desired skills:
Youth Work, Youth Services, and Youth Mentoring skills
Strong communication skills
Prior experience in social work or related field
Ability to connect and engage with children
Patience, empathy, and understanding
First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
Background in child development or education is beneficial
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
