Description We are on the hunt for an Accounting Supervisor to join our oilfield services client based in Houston, Texas. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be entrusted with overseeing accounting processes, leading a small team, and maintaining effective communication with various teams and senior leadership.Responsibilities: Supervising and providing support to the team responsible for international billing Overseeing the revenue recognition process in accordance with SOX controls Managing the monthly billing process and reviewing invoices Conducting regular journal entries and reconciliations on a monthly basis Communicating effectively with auditors and responding to audit requests in a timely manner Building and maintaining strong relationships with international offices and senior leaders Utilizing Oracle Cloud for various accounting tasks Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of month-end close activitiesRequirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting combined with a minimum of 3 years experience with experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Lead Proficiency in Monthly Close Processes and Month-end Close Activities Demonstrated experience in executing Monthly Close and Month End Close operations Deep understanding of Company Revenue Recognition policies and practices Proven ability in managing Billing operations Knowledge and experience in SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance Proficiency in using Oracle Cloud for accounting purposesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
