Description Our client is in need of a part-time Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team on a contract basis. This role is central to the financial operations and involves managing accounts receivable, billing, and recording collections. The individual will be expected to leverage their skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks to ensure efficient operations for our non-profit client.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounts receivable processes Handle billing operations efficiently to ensure accuracy Carry out cash collections and follow up on overdue accounts Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain financial records and reports Leverage QuickBooks for financial management and operations Ensure accurate record-keeping of customer credit information Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate recovery actions for delinquent payments Respond to customer inquiries regarding credit applications and accounts Collaborate with the financial team to implement effective credit control strategies Continually review and improve accounts receivable processes.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Billing processes and procedures Skillset in Cash Collections Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with QuickBooks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail oriented and ability to multitask Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of data Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
