Job DescriptionOne of the world's leading Geo-Data Specialist is needing to hire an ASSISTANT FACILITY MAINTENANCE immediately! This is a temporary to permanent position with a starting pay of $18 hourly. Schedule is Monday thru Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with some overtime based on workload.Summary:The FACILITIES ASSISTANT is a team member of the building management department. This individual focuses on the daily functions related to maintenance for the company buildings and all facilities.Essential Functions:
Ability to change light bulbs and wall hangings.
Able to fix and adjust office furniture as needed.
Assemble furniture and arrange conference rooms set up.
Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining inventories.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Performs other duties or completes special projects as assigned.
RequirementsASSISTANT FACILITY MAINTENANCE require a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance and / or engineering environment.Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
Strong ability to develop creative and meticulous approaches to introducing, implementing, and supporting technology solutions.
Must be able to use discretion in handling company confidential information.
Ability to effectively present information, responds to questions, prioritize tasks, and communicate in a professional and timely manner in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and efficiently
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to write route reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Ability to accurately engage stakeholders with different backgrounds, experience, skills, responsibilities and levels of authority.
Able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines; documenting and communicating regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
Individual must be a team player and must be able to work effectively with peers, subordinates, and superiors.
Certificates and Licenses:
valid Driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record is required.
