AV Systems Programmer

Description Job Description:As an AV Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, integrating, and maintaining systems used in instructional and academic environments. Your responsibilities will include web application development, system integration using APIs, troubleshooting audio-visual systems, providing user support, and collaborating with various stakeholders including faculty, vendors, and service providers.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications, utilizing APIs for seamless integration of systems.

Provide support for installed audio-visual systems, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal functionality.

Monitor and update incidents through a ticket tracking system, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with users.

Assist faculty in utilizing instructional technology systems effectively.

Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure smooth operation of integrated systems.

Implement version control practices using tools like Git, SVN, etc.

Maintain relevant certifications such as Crestron Masters Certified Programmer and AVIXA CTS Certification.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in web application development and system integration.

Strong proficiency in application/scripting and back-end languages such as C#, HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, Python, SQL, etc.

Experience with calibration procedures for audio and video equipment.

Proficiency in processing data sets using Excel and/or data visualization applications (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

Familiarity with Universal Design principles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Crestron Masters Certified Programmer.

AVIXA CTS Certification or equivalent.
