Description We are offering an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our team in Houston, Texas. The role involves managing the financial records of our organization, including processing transactions, updating financial records, and ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date. Our client located east of Downtown Houston, TX is seeking a Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper must have 5+ years experience with full cycle AP, AR, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations, Intercompany, and Multi-Entity. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for keeping the books for 2 companies. SAGE software experience is a huge plus. This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to 70K plus benefits working 100% in office.Responsibilities Oversee full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Execute payroll procedures, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to guarantee accuracy. Handle intercompany transactions and activities across multiple entities. Utilize SAGE accounting software for various financial operations. Manage data entry tasks with a high level of precision. Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis. Oversee month-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for two companies within the organization. Account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.Requirements Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar Demonstrated expertise in Account Reconciliation Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proven experience in Bank Reconciliations Possess strong bookkeeping skills Proficient in Data Entry Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in Month End Close procedures Must have experience in handling Payroll Proficiency in using Sage Accounting Software is required Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
