Chief Clinical Officer is responsible for directing the continuum of training and operations within the Clinical Department, which will include the development and implementation of employee training programs, patient workshops, and clinical operations.  This position is responsible for ensuring that the facility programs, schedules, and curriculum are evidenced based modalities and ensures positive patient experience and outcomes.  This position is a member of the facility leadership team.ResponsibilitiesThe duties listed below reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the position.Act on behalf of the organization in the overall clinical operation of the program.Direct and oversee clinical program operations, including budget management, developing marketing and strategic plans, and independent decision making for programs requiring clinical expertise.Develop, plan, and implement clinical program goals, objectives, personnel, resources, and equipmentCreation and oversight of systems for clinical information management, including the flow of information to appropriate parties (i.e., Chief Executive Officer, Managing Members, court systems, attorneys, referents, etc.).Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and accreditation standards for clinical programming including the management of incident reporting, upholding a culture of safety and eliminating environmental riskAssign new clients to program clinical staff.Coordinate, facilitate, or delegate (to appropriate personnel) that new clients are oriented to the program(s), primarily noting rules, schedule, and structure.Coordinate, facilitate, or delegate initial referent communication regarding new clients.Coordinate, facilitate, or delegate initial family communication regarding new clients.Provide clinical consultation, oversight of case planning, and care coordinationConfirm charting procedures are followed. Coordinate, facilitate, or delegate (to appropriate personnel) ongoing communication with family, referent, and invested individuals regarding the client’s care.Liase with UR and identify, monitor, coordinate, and secure program extensions when clinically appropriate and continually monitor individual client appropriateness for levels of care Oversee clinician’s strategies for individual sessions and guide sessions towards relevant topics which help to direct client thought process towards extending the treatment experience.Bring to clinician’s attention, situations indicative of an unproductive clinical process.Direct crisis intervention efforts and intervene as requiredCoordinate, facilitate, or delegate (to appropriate personnel) crisis sessions based only on determination of relevant clinical need.Monitor and assess client appropriateness for advancement through the program phase system.Coordinate, facilitate, or delegate (to appropriate personnel) client interventions when program rules and regulations infractions occur.Inform family, referents, and invested individuals when client interventions are necessary, with description of consequences or outcomes of continued client behaviors.Administratively discharge clients, when necessary, after consulting with treatment team and leadership team.Confirm all program discharges are documented and that the appropriate discharge form has been completed and signed by the client.Ensure the entire program adheres to appropriate group dynamics, based on group rules and facilitate group sessions when needed.Coordinate with HR and write-up employee infractions as they occur.Facilitate daily meetings with the clinicians to discuss client care.Confirm that clinicians are conducting their assigned number of individual sessions.Facilitate weekly meetings regarding the client extension process.Ensure the clients complete a program survey prior to successful discharge.Coordinate and communicate with Director of Clinical Outreach or Stars & Stripes Liaison, when appropriate, when referring clients out for ancillary services, aftercare, or program transfers upon Administrative Discharge.After any type of discharge, complete a thorough quality audit of the client’s chart within 24 hrs.Oversee, develop, and foster an atmosphere of positive community relations when applicable (i.e., neighbors, community resources, sober living centers, etc.).Support facility implementation of budgetary and policy decisions.Be fiscally oriented regarding budget (i.e., expenditures, client activities, curriculum changes, ancillary services, etc.).   Enter DOL and LOC information. For a virtual tour of the facility, please visit our website prosperitywellnesscenter.com
