We’re just built to be better. We are a great company.We are seeking a CMT Field Technician 2 to join our Houston, TX team! Come join us!Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Driving to and from job sites.

Collection of samples.

Observations.

Perform quality assurance tests.

Preparation and submission of daily reports Interaction with clients, contractors and other design professionals.

Minimum requirements:

3+ years' experience working in the construction industry.

Experience reading and comprehending plans, specifications and test procedures.

Working knowledge of concrete, soils, base and asphalt pavements.

Highway or building construction experience and a proven history of working well with contractors and owners to accomplish construction tasks is preferred.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must be able to complete electronic reports us an on-line database system in the field on a daily basis.

Technical requirements:

Currently have or able to obtain or already have Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I.

Currently have or able to obtain SB-102 and HMAC 1B Certifications.

Any other certifications are a plus (i.e. SB101, SB102, ACI-Strength, 1A, 1B).

Other miscellaneous qualities:

Ability to travel 20% of the time.

Ability to obtain missing certification within 6 months of hire.

Ability to use and navigate SiteManager is a plus.

Communicate effectively with and take direction from Lead Technicians and Project Manager Review sales order, product list and scope of work prior to deploying equipment Clarify final placement of key components with communication from PM or customer Trim out speakers, CAT5/6, coax and camera placements Installation of in-ceiling/in-wall speaker installation Install/Setup home and light business network systems Set up, pre-configure and program networks, control systems, cameras and NVRs Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security Communicate with Project Manager on schedule and expected completion dates Daily updates to project documentation and work orders in job management software Accurate time clock entries and job costing Make decisions and be held accountable to Time and Materials On call rotation maybe required Local travel to job sites required.
