Construction Project Manager

Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Construction Project Manager to sit onsite 5 days per week in Westchase, Houston, TX. This is a direct hire salaried role, that will sit in office but have some construction site visits required. The Project Manager will manage various aspects of construction projects, from site development through to final inspections, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a comprehensive understanding of the construction process. You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager to ensure project objectives are achieved efficiently. Assist in the development of detailed project plans for gas station and commercial construction, including site development, utilities, and building construction. Work closely with the Senior Project Manager to ensure alignment with overall project goals. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects remain within financial parameters. Provide regular updates to the Senior Project Manager and recommend adjustments as needed. Conduct regular site visits to oversee the progress of construction, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with design plans. Escalate any on-site issues to the Senior Project Manager when necessary. Coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring all work is performed according to project specifications and timelines. Assist the Senior Project Manager in evaluating subcontractor performance. Identify potential risks or issues early in the project and develop solutions in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager to minimize project delays or cost overruns. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project progress. Work with the Senior Project Manager to address any client concerns or changes in project scope. Ensure thorough project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and reports.
