The Corporate Accounting team is responsible for processing and booking all corporate and personnel expenses, as well as posting and reconciling cash receipts and payments, across all Vitol entities.Job Duties for a Corporate Accounting Analyst:Process Personnel Expenses:Assist in reviewing employee expense reports to ensure appropriate completion and submissionAssist in processing and recorded employee expense reports (from Concur to the internal accounting system, Vega)Reconcile employee costs between American Express, Concur, and VegaPrepare Journal Entries:Book and pay company payroll and related benefit costsBook company overhead costs, including rent, utilities, canteen, subscriptions, etc.Record intercompany transactions and fundingsInterface with external service providers and local Vitol offices to ensure correct accounting treatmentManage Remittances:Post and apply daily cash receipts and paymentsReconcile daily and monthly bank statementsBank account maintenance, including linking accounts from Vista to Vega and maintaining the check processMaintain Internal Controls:Assist in testing internal controls for Vega processesMaintain Delegation of Authority (DOA) and expense approver flowManage and maintain Concur reporting system and employee expense reporting process
