Job PurposeThe Application Customer Service assumes a pivotal role within the realm of medical device operations, leveraging their expertise and experience to propel project success. They play a crucial role in formulating and implementing operational strategies, ensuring that the product or service attains the highest caliber in terms of quality standards and regulatory compliance. This job requires 100% on-site availability and 50% traveling required between the USA and Europe.Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct pre-clinical and clinical research to characterize the nanomechanical properties of solid tumors.
Develop innovative protocols and methodologies for sample preparation, including establishing measurement standards and designing specimen holders.
Continuously improve and execute measurement routines at customer sites and the ARTIDIS facility.
Produce technical documentation, study reports, work instructions (WIs), and test plans to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and ISO quality standards.
Provide flexible, on-site support to customers and study coordinators, adapting to hospital schedules as needed.
Enhance and refine data analysis procedures, conduct statistical analyses, and execute analytical validation tests.
Validate the performance of new measurement devices on biological samples at customer sites.
Offer scientific and technical support to clients, ensuring the optimal functionality and performance of ARTIDIS products.
Deliver education and training to customers and medical staff to enhance the performance and usability of ARTIDIS products.
Collect and document user requirements and feedback to contribute to continuous product improvement.
Visit hospital and customer sites regularly, maintaining a strong presence to support workflows and strengthen customer relationships.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Ph.D. or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
Technical Expertise: Nanomechanical phenotyping in solid tumors, tissue/cell nanomechanics, sample preparation, data analysis, and validation.
Medical Device Knowledge: Proficient in medical device operations, ISO 13485, FDA guidelines, CE Marking, and international regulatory standards.
Customer Interaction: Skilled in technical assistance, customer service, product training, and tailoring solutions.
Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Strong teamwork, troubleshooting, and ability to address challenges collaboratively.
On-Site Support: Regular presence at customer sites in Europe and the USA, with frequent travel.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication for technical documentation and presentations.
Project Management: Capable of handling multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and working in a fast-paced environment.
