In addition to highly competitive salaries, we offer a bonus program, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase program; comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits, including a robust wellness program; paid time off for vacation, holidays, and sick days; and much more.Expected salary range of $104,400 to $116,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONPerform activities related to designing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions, products, and processes under the guidance of a Senior Data Engineer or Manager. May assist in coordinating tasks for subordinates.PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Collect data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and streaming sources. Design and implement efficient data pipelines to ensure smooth data flow into storage systems.

Develop and maintain data storage solutions such as databases and data lakes. Ensure data consistency and accuracy through validation and cleansing techniques.

Design, build, and maintain data architectures and pipelines that align with business needs and support data scientists' analysis capabilities.

Identify ways to improve data quality, efficiency, and reliability. Implement processes to ensure data is accurate, secure, and ready for analysis.

Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other teams to align data solutions with business requirements, while actively participating in technical design discussions and code reviews.

Work with cross-functional teams, including Data Solutions Architects, to address data-related issues and support data-driven decision-making.

Develop and implement internal data processes to improve, automate, and optimize data handling and analysis.

Provide rotational on-call support for data pipelines, ensuring quick resolution of performance and data flow issues, and maintaining system reliability.

Transform raw data into valuable insights, supporting informed decision-making across the organization.

Implement robust, high-performance data solutions independently, while maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation for transparency and future reference.

Leverage knowledge of applications, data, and business processes to build, support, and maintain data integrations/transformations for Business Intelligence Reporting and Data Analytics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree and typically 2 to 5 years of related experience in data warehouse design, business intelligence reporting, and ETL/ELT processing, or 6 to 9 years of an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Experience with JSON, and XML data structures.

Experience implementing data pipelines using the latest technologies and techniques.

Experience with SDLC products (Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, GitHub) or similar agile project management tools.

2-3+ years of hands-on experience in programming languages such as C#, Python, PySpark, SQL, Unix shell/Perl scripting.

Experience handling structured and unstructured datasets.

Experience in data modeling and advanced SQL techniques.

Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Databricks.

Cloud migration methodologies and processes with tools like Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, etc.

Problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Knowledge of ETL tools.

Experience designing integration applications, both upstream and downstream applications.

Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, build pipelines, code branching/merging, and code management.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Databricks for data processing and analytics.
