You will report to the Senior Director for PPE Planning with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your planning and leadership skills and play an instrumental role in the success of the company.As the Director of Production and Material Planning, you will have the ownership of the Network Production Planning strategy and execution for PPE. You will support the Senior Director of Planning to set the vision and goals for the Production and Material Planning functions and manage the people and processes to achieve those goals and objectives.You will partner with the SPS and Corporate Center of Excellence and Subject Matter Experts to deploy the Honeywell Global Design Model (GDM) along with the RapidResponse advanced planning tool across your network. You will also be responsible to lead business transformation, including change management, as needed to sustain the GDM process and expected results. You will create and drive a positive working environment and culture of continuous improvement throughout your organization to achieve the best possible outcome from your resources. You will lead the development of your team to increase their skills and capability in readiness for internal progression and succession.In this role, you will oversee the monthly Production Planning process and management operating system for your network of sites. This includes management of the Master Production Schedules (MPS), Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) activity with a constrained MPS where needed, process discipline and rigor, consistent reviews of all planning metrics and KPI’s while ensuring planner knowledge and skills continue to grow and improve. Further, you will own the monthly Materials Planning process cycle and ensure raw materials replenishment plans align to the network Supply & Production Plans and achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within the business goals. You will ensure the network Materials Requirements Plans (MRP) will satisfy the network Constrained Master Production Schedules (MPS). You will partner with the Buying leaders to ensure materials are delivered to the sites/network on time while achieving the ISC goals of cost control and working capital targets.The successful candidate must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitive advantage of the product portfolio. Focusing on building a world-class team, driving continuous improvement activities and achievement of superior performance across all Key Performance Initiatives (KPI’s).KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Defining and executing the Vision & Driving Strategy for Production and Material Planning and Execution.

Driving Transformation initiatives and deployment of the Honeywell GMD and RapidResponse adoption.

Provide leadership and structure to PPE by developing and executing a Management Operating System (MOS) that ensures optimal alignment between MPS, Factory Capacity and the Supply Plan.

Set expectations for the development and ongoing refinement of the daily/weekly/monthly Planning MOS, including a weekly review of all planning related metrics/KPI’s.

Monitor supply and demand imbalances and communication/escalate.

Oversee and manage the Production Planning function.

Oversee and Manage the Raw Material Planning function.

Drive implementation and improvement to the site level raw material Plan For Every Part (PFEP) process.

Own and ensure Material Master accuracy.

Partner with transition teams for detailed involvement in transition execution.

Review and approve the monthly Supply Plan commit that aligns to SIOP, Revenue and Inventory commitments.

Lead and establish a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence.

Build a culture of highly skilled and talented planning professionals in preparation for progression within Honeywell.

Effective verbal, written and presentation skills, with ability to effectively interact with and influence all levels of internal customers.

Demonstrate strong bias for action and demonstrated effectiveness as a change agent for process improvement.

Demonstrate problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet project objectives.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree.

10+ years’ experience in Supply, Production Planning, Materials Management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning, with people leadership experience.

Direct experience with SAP ERP systems, specifically planning screens, transaction codes, etc.

5 years of experience with a global SIOP process, driving results with customer on-time delivery and inventory.

Masters Degree

Experience with Kinaxis (Rapid Response) is a plus .

APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft applications.

Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal & written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.

Ability to collaborate with both internal and external customers.

Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification with using lean tools to drive business results.

Building global organizations capabilities and succession planning.
