The Vintage Hospital offers the latest in diagnostic and surgical expertise including heart care women’s health and orthopedics.ResponsibilitiesAs our Echo Tech you will operate ultrasound equipment and perform a variety of technical diagnostic procedures which encompass thespecialty area of Echocardiography. To be successful in this role, you must have a solid knowledge of imaging equipment and proper patient positioning to produce and analyze quality images.You’ll continuously strive to deliver a positive experience to our patients.
Performs ultrasound diagnostic imaging on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols
Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning Actively Participates with patient testing, performing routine, non‐routine, urgent, and emergent patient requests
Performs portable examinations at the bedside to ensure patient safety as well as provide immediate diagnostictesting when needed
QualificationsRequired:Associate’s Degree OR one year certificate from a healthrelated program in a related medical field, which includeseminar course training in cardiac ultrasound preferredRegistered by American Diagnostic Registry for MedicalSonographers (ARDMS) as RDCS OR RVT or Registered byCardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RVS or RCSTwo (2) years related experiencePay Range$33.60 - $48.73 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
