Works under practically no direction or supervision of all duties.

Operates autonomously and keeps supervisor's operation functioning efficiently even during travel periods.

Interprets company policies, anticipates and prepares materials needed by the supervisor(s) for conference, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, etc. and informs supervisor(s) on matters to be considered.

Many projects are completed without a formal check by supervisor(s).

Requirements:

Requires 7-8 years of experience.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available including Senior Executive Assistant.

  • At Houston Methodist, the Senior Medical Assistant Certified (Sr. MA) position is responsible for functioning as an expert and demonstrates highly competent knowledge in the more technical and advances examinations and treatments necessary to communicate appropriately and carry out delegated medical assistant level tasks under the direct supervision of a Physician and/or Registered Nurse for assigned patient populations, for providing high quality support of patient care and services.
