Description We are seeking a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in the construction and contractor industry, based in Houston, Texas. This role entails providing technical support for workstation hardware and software products, as well as carrying out other IT operational tasks as needed. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Efficiently answer and resolve technical support issues related to computer systems, peripherals, and software packages. Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of computer systems. Handle and complete detailed support requests, ensuring timely resolution. Assist in creating comprehensive documentation related to computer troubleshooting and usage. Install and update desktop software including engineering software applications and basic software programs. Prepare and deploy new workstations for new team members including installation, cabling, and orientation. Provide user support including the setup for video conferencing and printer maintenance. Train end users on various features and functionalities of computer, email, audio/video, and telecommunication systems. Utilize Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployment skills to manage EO/IR systems effectively. Perform other day-to-day IT operational tasks as required. Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in a related role within the construction or contractor industry Proficiency in EO/IR systems Familiarity with Active Directory Knowledge and understanding of computer hardware Experience in configuration management Proven ability to handle deployments Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Proactive in learning new processes and technologies High school diploma or equivalent, higher education or certifications in relevant field are a plus Must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
