Description Our client located in NW Houston is currently seeking an accomplished HR Business Partner with substantial experience in employee relations.As an HR Business Partner, your primary focus will be to align business objectives with employees and management in designated sections. You will work as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent.Direct Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when required.
Interpret and apply understanding of corporate policy and practices, employment law, and other regulations to provide advice, guidance, or interpretation to management.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Manage HR projects as needed and participate in enterprise-wide projects that improve performance, culture, and employee engagement.
Provide guidance on performance management, competency development, succession planning, employee engagement, and employee development programs.
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
5-7 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
Proven ability to build relationships and gain the trust of associates at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently.
Ability to effectively communicate across multiple departments and with all levels of management.
This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to 90K plus benefits working a hybrid schedule after training.Requirements - Ability to view issues with impartiality
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources
Unimpeachable ethics, integrity, and standards
Deep knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are preferred
An understanding of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
Knowledge of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office
5+ years in human resources
Seasoned in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
