Job Summary The Material Handler/Janitor will unload containers and store material in proper locations. Maintain warehouse and a clean work area. Teamwork is required as part of duties with coworkers to have a smooth operation. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Mandatory Participation on the daily warehouse cleaning:
Requires floors to be swept, trash picked up, and put in trash cans
Requires shelves and bins be free of tape, paper, plastic wrap, and other foreign material
Material stored in bins/shelves, not on the floor
Crossed trained in all department functions.
Dispose of scrap metals in the proper recycle containers
Recycle soft, cuts from laser, sheets, wire, spiral wound, raw material
Maintain access corrugation
Supply orders for all branches
Restock inhouse corrugation
Unload delivery truck(s)
General housekeeping
Package spill kits and maintain inventory
Must have clear understanding and practice all safety rules and regulations.
Must have clear understanding of Quality Policy and Quality System Programs
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor/lead

Skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate verbally as well as written communication skills
Basic computers skills and ability to navigate through Microsoft Office
Efficient time management skills
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Experience
0-2 years’ experience preferred in a manufacturing atmosphere
Forklift certification preferred, ability to be able to become certified in house
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull
Continuous standing and walking
Must adhere to all safety procedures/policies
Working frequently with average weight up to 50 pounds independently
Good visual acuity
Ability to work in cold, hot, and dusty environment with noisy conditions, occasional work outside in the elements
