Job SummaryPosition OverviewThe Legal Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing and coordinating administrative support to an assigned team of managers, attorneys and/or legal specialists in the ConocoPhillips Legal Department.Your responsibilities may include:

Managing attorney schedules and updating calendars

Meeting, planning and scheduling conference rooms, team events/activities, catering and teleconferences, etc

Coordinating and facilitating meetings

Preparing and revising legal correspondence, including communications with outside counsel

Developing and/or maintaining legal files, records and documents in electronic and/or paper format

Copying and scanning documents

Coordinating travel arrangements

Preparing and processing travel and expense reports

Serve as an ambassador of ConocoPhillips Legal Department through managing incoming telephone calls, emails and/or instant messaging appropriately and professionally

Receiving, processing and distributing incoming/outgoing mail and facsimile transmissions

Other administrative duties as assigned by the legal work team and/or reporting supervisor

Basic/Required:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer

5 or more years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant

Intermediate level of proficiency with MS O365 applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams

Preferred:

Able to work with highly sensitive documents with a strong commitment to confidentiality, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to strict security protocols.

Must be flexible and willing to assist with a variety of administrative tasks

Highly developed interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt quickly to change

Intermediate level of knowledge of legal terminology and procedures associated with litigation, in particular the discovery process

Have an understanding, and ability to process transactional documents

Must be customer focused and service-oriented

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering results while maintaining a safe environment

Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right

Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
