Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing machining
operations to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role
involves managing the machining team, analyzing production workflows,
developing and implementing new machining methods, and collaborating with
cross-functional teams to improve product design and manufacturability. The Machining
Manager also focuses on reducing costs, enhancing productivity, and ensuring
compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include
troubleshooting machining issues, maintaining equipment, maintaining high OTD
and customer satisfaction, and continuously seeking opportunities for process

ProcessManagement: Implementing, maintaining, and optimizing machiningprocesses to improve efficiency and utilization, reduce costs, and ensureproduct quality.
Team Leadership: Leading andmanaging the machining team, providing guidance, training, and support toensure high performance and professional development.
Quality Control and Assurance:Establishing and maintaining quality control systems to ensure thatmachined products meet required specifications and standards.
Equipment Maintenance: Overseeingthe maintenance, repair, and calibration of machining equipment to ensureoptimal performance and minimize downtime.
Continuous Improvement andDigitalization: Seeking opportunities for process improvements,supporting the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, anddriving initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Integratingsmart technologies such as MIS (Manufacturing Information System), AI(Artificial Intelligence), and digital tools to monitor and optimizemachining processes in real-time, leading to more efficient and agilemachining operations.
What YouBring
Bachelor’s degree in MechanicalEngineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or arelated field; A Master's degree will be considered a plus.
2+ years of experience with managinga manufacturing team, and a minimum of 5 years of combined experience withmanufacturing industry; Proven track record of process improvement,optimization and innovation.
Experience with ManufacturingExecution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) softwarelike SAP is required; Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferable.
Strong understanding of machiningprocesses, tooling, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigmamethodologies, and quality control systems is preferred; Lean or Six Sigmacertification will be considered a plus.
Experience with ManufacturingExecution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) softwarelike SAP is required; Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferable.
Excellent analytical skills toidentify issues and implement effective solutions, along with strongproblem-solving abilities to address complex machining challenges. Strongproject management skills preferable. Strong leadership and communicationskills to effectively manage and motivate the machining team andcollaborate with cross-functional teams.
